I have an Arlen Ness Big Sucker Stg II and want to cover it while I'm at work if there's even the slightest possibility of rain. Yesterday I had, what I thought was, a great idea. I asked the wife to fold in the HD helmet cover about two inches and sew it so that I could re-thread the shoe string and so that I could still tighten it, or sinch it up. She also found a push-button zip cord tie-down.
I think it was a great idea, very please with the way it turned out.

If you spray it with some scotchguard it will be water resistant.
Thanks, I'm going to do that. I actually thought it already was somewhat resistant but had planned to test it since she sewed it for me. After I read your reply I went and held it under the running faucet. It's definitely NOT water resistant. I will scotchguard it soon. thanks.
