G'day,

I am breaking in a 2014 ultra limited.
I have noticed on cold start up a slight grinding type noise a few seconds after start up that lasts for a couple of seconds.
Anyone know what might be making this noise - lifters?
Should I be worried or is it normal?

 

I've only got 1700 miles on my limited, and have not heard any grinding. The coldest I have started her has been about 55°.
I would definitely check it out too see whats the problem.

I was in Sydney a couple of months ago, and it was not "cold" then.
