So Thursday I'm picking up my 14' 48. It will be my first. I've grown up riding bmx for the last twenty years and after a separation don't own many tools. Could anyone recommend a kit or some bare essentials to always have around? I plan on doing a few things (tank lift/tuck, seat, signal relocate) for starters nothing major. Thanks!
Some things I've always kept with me on my rides have been things like quick fill tire inflators with spare nitrogen cartridges. Tire gauge as well. Much of my bikes have been all metric, but keeping the standards like 1/2, 3/4, 7/8, and 9/16 on hand is always a bonus. I've noticed some components use torx bits, so would be good to get a small all-in-one torx set. A 2-in-1 screw driver for philips/flat. On the hot days, I keep a spare dew rag if I need to soak it up. A few good bungies. Not much room on the 48, but a bar bag should be able to hold most of it with the right gear.
