Denco in Cloverdale is also a licensed facility---- give Travis a call----- they only do V twins. Small place but good.
I believe however that it is mandatory to have fenders on a vehicle. You just got nailed by a grumpy officer. I had the honour of being the first busted in White Rock for loud pipes. (They were stock) by two cops without any testing equipment whatsoever. My testing was done on an I phone app for reading noise level. The paper work I carry on my bike in case I get stopped again.
There is always Trev Deeley if it's closer.

What did the officer say when you informed him that your pipes are stock? I would stop by his detachment and speak to a supervisor. You should be able to get it squashed without going to court.

The two of them didn't know or care! It was a straight out case of being detained without due cause. Wasn't a ticket just a warning and a notice to get it tested and bring the results to the detachment which I did and complained at that time. At the same time a Cobra was cruising on the other side of the road ---- they are big V8s with straight thru exhaust and the cops didn't even look up at it when I pointed it out to them. The guy I was riding with however was really teed off and was going to take on both the cops with his 6'6'' 300 lb. frame. His was a brand new $40,000.00 bike. I just said "pick your battles" you know this is bogus. The cops knew nothing about bikes but the word was passed down the line from the mayor and they had to appear to be doing something. I looked up the roadside testing procedure in the motor vehicle act. Interesting---- has to be at a 45 degree angle from the exhaust outlet if I remember correctly one meter away (I could be off on the distance) and away from any object that will bounce back the sound, ie car or building. If you are pulled over for testing and you take a photo of him testing it with your phone (which is your right under the law if it is perceived to be necessary for evidence in your own defence among other things) and he is doing it wrong ,it will be thrown out.

Just an update in this. I got my bike inspected on my own at my chosen shop, even tho icbc had no record of a vi being issued. And i disputed my license plate obstruction ticket he issued just to prolong it and be a pain in his ***.... about 2 weeks later i opened up the province newspaper (large vancouver newspaper) and saw this goof is getting charged with dangerous driving causing death and dangerous driving causing bodily harm in a chase he was never supposed to be in.... karma works fast hey officer bickle?? I recently got a letter back stating icbc had no record of the obstructed plate ticket. He never did any paperwork.. just stole my plate and damaged my bike. Still considering pressing charges for theft and damages if the detachment still has my plate somewhere there...
