HD auto primary chain adjuster ????
Have a brand new Softail with the new to me automatic primary chain adjuster. When cold a couple of times I have heard a clang coming from the left side when pulling out in first gear. It has all the symptoms of a loose primary chain. Can someone tell me how these work and if what I am experiencing is normal characteristic of this setup? I test rode 3 bikes before I bought mine and they all had a certain amount of lash in them I am not used to in the older bikes. Thanks.
