2009 Heritage softail classic wont start.
Hey everyone I am new to the forums. My father bought a salvaged 2009 Heritage Softail Classic. We rebuilt got everything on we just got the fuel tank back yesterday from getting paint. We got everything all together put fresh gas and oil in it went to start it up and it turns over but will not start up. We checked the plugs and its not flooded. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

Are you getting a spark at the plugs, is the fuel pump priming, have you checked all the sensors like the crank position and IAC? Could be a number of things on a salvaged bike depending on the damage it took.

It is getting a spark and we think the fuel pump is priming kind of sounds like bubbling? Also it took front end damage, is it possible when we had the fuel tank redone maybe some sort of wiring issue or hose problems?

The fuel pump, the fuel pump relay, or the fuel hose inside the tank has a crack or hole in it. If you fill up the tank it will probably start but then you have to drain the fuel back out to replace said items.
