Do I have a problem?
I posted this in the softail forum also but since I have both a Bagger and a Heritage I thought I would look for help here also.
Here is my problem:
I have a 2009 Heritage. It always takes several seconds of starter to start. My 2009 bagger starts up in less than a second. The dealer said this was normal, like they always say, but said it could be a variance in the crank case sensor. I switched the bikes crank case sensor and it did the same thing so I know it's not that.
If I let it sit over a week I ride my Ultra Classic more) it takes even longer to start like it's starving for fuel. Kind of like a choked carb model. Anybody else see this or do I have a problem like a fuel pump not pumping up or? I am waiting for the light to go out and the pump to stop.
Thanks for any help.

Do you have a PC-V on it? If you do, use this start sequence......turn on ignition and immediately hit start button, works every time. Some of the aftermarket fuel management systems will interfer with the stock ECM for the starting sequence.
Both my bikes have a PCV's and only the Heritage does that. I will take your sugestion and try that this evening. I'll let you know what happens.
