drive belt adjustment?

This is why they make the calibrated tool to do this adjustment.
The twist it 45 degrees method is what every Harley mechanic I know uses. Once you test a properly adjusted belt this way you get a feel for it. The gauge is great for people who have never done it before until they get a feel for what is tight and loose. I own one of the gauges and probably havent used it in 20 years.
