Hi, New to this forum and anxious to resolve a problem on my just purchased 2003 Vrod. Not sure exactly where to post this thread so I posted it in a couple sections. Had 40 readers on the V Rod section but no answers/suggestions. Hope someone has an idea of the problem. Searched thru 1130.com and saw tons of posts concerning the same symptoms that I have.
On my third time riding the Vrod, the speedometer stopped working and the engined stalled many times when I down shifted and came to a stop. Had to feather the throttle to keep it going. Also saw the fuel gauge drop really fast, third of a tank gone in 28 miles!
Any suggestions? Few posts stating the VSS was the problem.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
John
