91 sportster vibration
I have a 91 883 with a vibration in every gear. It all started when i was pulling a hill and geared down and the vibration came in it. Now every gear you shift it vibrates and over 50 mph the vibration hurts your hands and feet. The bike has a lil over 15,000 on it so im not sure if its the clutch or something internal. If someone could poiint in the right direction i would appreciate it. Thanks

I've got an 02 1200 Sporty. I get pretty bad vibrations from it no matter what really. Any Sportster pre 05 is a solid mount motor set up and it causes the vibration of the motor to resonate to the pegs and bars. 05 and newer are rubber mounted making the vibration much less annoying. Not sure if your new to the bike or if this has just now become an issue but that's the best explanation I've got for you.

Lets start simple so you dont spend a ton of dollars. check both your wheels for your wheel weight. I had a set go out on me this year. Next check all your motor mounts are nice and tight. After that you'll need to dig in a little. look at your front final drive is on good and tight. Take the clutch side cover off and make sure no teeth are missing from the basket. At this piont go see a mechanic i'm outta ideas. willing to bet you tossed a few wheel weights.
