I bought it from lenale in 07.
I not going to say it gets rid of all the heat or it is the greatest thing to come along.
Having used it more than most ride IMO it does help.

I will do that and one thing I want all to know I ride in all kinds of weather My fan has spent more than a fair amount of time in the rain.
Someday I come up with a good way to measure just how much heat it moves away from the upper engine area.
I know in the winter I use it to warm the hands up.
Remind riders about the 2 second delay

On the 2011 RGU I moved the horn to the air deflectors that run between tank and engine guard work out well out of site and work well there.

As only one HD made has oil cooled heads cooling the oil does very little to reduce top end heat. Just not enough oil flow to do much cooling.
I never claimed the Lenale fan made it cool as car engine but it does reduce heat and blows some of the heat away from the engine.
Mine has served me well and it may get mounted on a third bike this summer if I trade off.
