Keep an eye on the threads about the IL/WI Motley Bikers. I have not riden with them yet but I know Slash, one of the guys that sets up some of the destinations and rides. He is a good guy.
Sounds like the group had a ton of fun last year and I look forward to riding with them in the Spring.
You can also probably PM forum member Slash and tell him you are interested in riding with the group.
You'll be seeing our rides posted right here in the Midwest Forum when things warm up.Everyone's welcome,we've even leta BMW and some rice burners out there with us,if you're on an FXD - Bring it on !
There's usually plenty of information like maps etc...included,so don't forget to check here.
Until then,if you have any questions as 06Fatty mentioned you can pm me or one of the other IL/Wi Motley Bikers or just post 'emright here.
From talking to the other guys & girls it looks like there will be a lot of variety this year. You can expect to see us getting together for anything from 120 - 500 mile round trips in every direction and probably a couple of overnight trips as well.
It's a great feeling to be talking about Illinois/Wisconsin riders getting back on the road,I'm definitely looking forward to it !
Hey Joe I try and do a ride every Sunday. I'm about a 40 min. ride south of you. Most of the rides are along the illinois river. There's at least a half a dozen watering holes and most of them are on the river. I try and post the rides at least 3-4 days prior and of coarse weather permitting.
Thanks for the welcome everyone!I have checked out some of the past rides that you have done, itlooklike you guys have agreat time! Thanks again for the welcome from all of you! Iam really having a bit of cabin fever this year,I'mlooking forward to spring and takinga road trip with all of you! Have a great New Yearall!
Wow, It's great to see us starting to think about riding again. Man, this weather is killing me. I work about 1/2 mile from the dealer so I'm in there all the time looking at what's coming in and spending all my $$$$. It's hard not to go home and just start her up. See you all soon!!!!!!!
