Rock Falls/Sterling here. About 2 1/2 hours west of Chicago off of 88. About 1 hour east of Quad Cities.

I am in Kingston out by Dekalb. Is anybody going to the swap meet on the 18th at the Mchenry Co fairgrounds.

we use to have relatives in wilmette but they all died out now,The wife and i use to go out every summer really love that city,my favorite sandwich shop is mr. beef!!!! i been to the taste of chicago in the park a couple of times too.you can really see some freaks there in the evening but its all good!!

 

I live 1 block east of Mr Beef! and Mr Beef actually lives in my building! great food and great area.

Hey Scarp,....This used to be a good thread...lasted for about a year and than it just died out...Sorta like what Harley just projected their losses for 2009...71% !...I'm in Wisconsin so if we can get midwest guys to respond I guess that will have to do for now.
