I have the 110 in my 2012 FLTRU. It was a big upgrade from the Stock 103.
When I first put the big bore kit in, I had the following setup:
SE 110 engine with SE255 cams, SEPST, V&H Power Duels/High Output exhaust, SE Heavy Breather 58mm Throttle Body.
Max power 97.12bhp @ 4918.6 rpm, Max Torque 117.88 Ft/lb 3865.5 rpm
when I updated the cams from the SE255 to the SE259Ecams, I picked up 15+ bhp and 5 ft/lbs of torque, but I did shift my curve to the right.
About a 700 rpm change for peak bhp and about 250rpm for peak torque.
Max power 112.91bhp @ 5633.5 rpm, Max Torque 122.78 Ft/lb 4122.6 rpm
While I used to hit 100Ft/lbs of torque at about 2700rpm, I know have to wait until about 2850rpm to hit that same mark.
I still have plenty of torque for the kind of riding I do, but I thought you might want to see a basic side by side comparison of what the SE255/SE259E cams will do.
Both sets of dyno numbers are using canned maps and I am sure that a skilled tuner could get a lot more from either set up. I can post the charts if you want to see them.
I would like to be in high 120's if I could with the 110 build. It is a lot of money to spend and not get the TQ I'm after. Anything more would be a bonus.
Thanks. I plan on doing a couple of auto tune runs to see what I can do with it before I take it to a tuner. I'm pretty cheap, so I'll do my own tune, then next time I can get a free dyno pull, I'll see how I did.
I've been pulling a time out deluxe trailer for last two years, wife and I really like trailer but bike struggles with it in a strong head wind and the mountains. We ride a 2012 ultra limited with 92 hp and 116 tq. Any ideas on what build will handle this pig of a trailer. I pulled a alumna trailer before this and bike did not even know it was back there.
Thanks
This is exactly what I'm building this motor for because I will be pulling the same trailer, I'm told by the guys at S&S 110HP 110T easy with this set-up

Well they tore my motor apart and found rod bearings are binding up so now I have to decide what to do know. 120st is one option on table right now.
What do you guys know about the 120.
Thanks
