Well you did say to not believe those who say you won't notice it. A lot of people say that and you just dissed them. That's not relating your experience, it's denegrating other people's opinions. So he was right in what he said. Wasn't necessary for him to do so, but he wasn't wrong.

Now, everyone just move along.

Well, I seem to be in the wrong here. It was an offhand comment based on my first ride with our trailer and not in any way shape or form intended to disrespect or call anyone a liar or cause ANY ill will or strife. I, again, apologize for any ruffled feathers. No offense intended.

I fail to see or understand why BikerPepe thinks his home made cargo trailer is anywhere near the weight of a Timeout pop-up camper. I'd wager the pop-up camper is over 200 lbs heavier than the cargo trailer. Do you really think that 200 pound difference/increase over your baseline isn't noticeable? Hell, I notice when I have a 110 pound passenger on my bike.

The Time Out weighs in at around 350 pounds empty, which it, of course, never will be!

Our Bushtec is listed at 125lbs, empty. Don't know how accurate that is as I haven't weighed it but for sure, it's pretty darned light.

that's ok. I fail to see where you got the exact opposite idea of what I was saying...

I pointed out that they are very different. Are you implying that musicman was commenting ONLY on the timeout trailers or...?

Can you please say it again in a different fashion so that people like myself that ride the short bus can understand?

I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about or referring to. If you find it too much trouble to explain it, maybe you can just re-quote what you have written in the past for me? It you aren't familiar with how to re-quote using the buttons at the bottom of the each message, just cut-and-paste the pertinent information. Thank you.
