I have a Bushtec Turbo 2+2 with two tone paint matching my 1500 Goldwing SE.
1. Is there a preferred 1-1/4" reciever hitch that can be recommended for my 2014 FLHTCU?
2. Anyone recommend or give information on repainting the trailer to match my Vivid Black bike? Or a great company to use?
Thanks in Advance
I went with an N-line hitch. There are several manufacturers to choose from, but Im happy with the fit and finish of mine. They are not cheap.

I have the Bushtec "Hidden Hitch" ( vertical receiver type ) on my 2009 FLHTCU ... Works like it's supposed too ... Painting the trailer is just a question of how much money you want to spend ... I know Bushtec will ( at least they used to ) paint to match ( even a used trailer ) but they are a bit pricey ... A quick tour of local body shops in your area may help ... "Vivid Black" is pretty much universal black ... matching shouldn't be a problem

Have you thought about having your trailer vinyl-wrapped, instead? Lots of folks doing that nowadays, instead of expensive paintwork.
We've had this trailer since about 1984 and this is the 5th or 6th bike that's pulled it. It's a "cycle mate" and really pulls nicely. Don't really even know it's back there except under heavy braking when the trailer is heavily loaded. It's been a joy to pull and very handy to have. Usually end up hauling stuff for everyone in the group!

"Usually end up hauling stuff for everyone in the group!" ... Yep, "Red" ( wife ) and I started out many, many years ago with a pair of jeans and a bed roll on the bars ... Then got a sissy bar and started strapping things to that ... Then got the saddle bags and she started filling them ... Moved up to a 1992 Ultra and she had that "loaded" in no time at all ... Finally got the Bushtec and she was like "Look a dresser" :<(
