Whatever you build, remember to add plenty of ventilation and a bit of weather protection, so the your pet doesn't get too hot and the bedding doesn't get wet. Be aware of the motorcycle exhaust location and your pet trailer. You don't want your pet breathing in carbon monoxide (CO) fumes. Maybe even install a battery powered CO alarm in the trailer. Also be aware of both the wind and exhaust noise the pet will be exposed to.
