Id be all over that like a fat kid on a chocolate cupcake lol...would look real nice sitting next to my evo powered sidecar rig lol. You should definitely take that home with you.
Only Problem with Real H-D car, is No one, that actually "needs" a car, can get in nor out of the darn things..
Watch how many you see going down the road, with the Monkey on Back of the bike!!
For my Money, something with a Door, like the Hannigan Heritage, is made for Old Folks, who want to keep Riding..while Beating the Crap out of any Trike...as they require Mountain Climbing skill to get up and On/Off the Back Seat!!
Obviously We went to a Sidecar because the Bagger was Simply too Big, too Heavy, and Too Much!! Part of Gettin Old!!!
For Showing Off...Nuthin Beats an H-D Car tho..

Yea, I tried getting in myself and it's a challenge for sure. I'm not sure what my reservation is. I wish it had been repainted with the original paint scheme, not sure what that was but it wasn't this. That being said, it's not a horrible paint job but not great either. Also the dude claims the motor was rebuilt, and it probably was but it's leaking already and the carb seems gummed up to me. It's not as clean as the pictures show but I really should buy it. It's a collector piece and surely will only appreciate in value.
Oh, another turn off was the "Police Special" speedo on a bike with a SN Starting with 2. Police bike SN's started with 1. The speedo shows 68,000 miles, the dude doesn't know anything about that.
OK here's another dumb question, how hard is the sidecar to remove? I'm thinking like when working on the bike, or hell even cleaning it. is it a clean break or are there still ugly brackets that hang from the bike? This thing does have a **** to tighten down the steering but no reverse. I've been told they didn't come from Milwaukee as a complete unit in 71, that the sidecar would have been a dealer added option? Does it matter if the sidecar is from 1971 or not? It probably is, but I'm not sure.

Matters Not... if the bike is Properly setup for a Hack.. You will Not enjoy Riding it Solo..downright Dangerous In Fact.. Ride a Bike with close to Zero trail..you will learn this Quickly!! Be Very Careful, riding a rig requires an entirely Different Skill Set.. even from a trike..certainly much different from a Solo Bike!!
Back in the 90s I had a 74 BMW R90/6 with a Dnepr sidecar put together in Ft. Worth TX. Was a lot of fun. Always got lots of smiles. Although going over 55 mph was a challenge. But that bike could not be ridden as a standalone two wheeler anymore. I remember it being explained it was like if you took your bicycle as a kid and turned the handlebars all the way around. Not fit for riding. Good luck with your decision.
