A forum for the discussion of your sidecar, Conversion Trike or Pull Behind Motorcycle Trailer.
The tech suggested I buy the company he repesents mounts and also have them build a small subframe. He described it but I cold not picture the sub frame. He described a piece of metal to help differentiate the weight attached to the bikes frame near the foot peg or swingarm. Might have to take the starter motor off to put on?? I was lost. Anyone else heard of installing a subframe so a Harley Dyna to attach a sidecar to?
I've heard of it but never seen it so I can't help much. Don't know what company you're dealing with, but you might want to call California Sidecar at (800) 824-1523. The are very helpful people and might be able to answer your questions. Of course they will want to sell you a sidecar, but they don't pressure you. I do know that if you ask a Harley Dealer, they will tell you that you cannot mount a sidecar on a Dyna.
