Still Raining
No, the TriGlide is not covered nor in a shelter - but it's beautiful to look at, lol... Have to say, hubby has checked the trunk out a few times after the rain; again just the bottom left-hand portion inside the trunk was wet a little - then he'd check it on other days after the rain and was not wet...
Currently I'm in the library in Colchester, Connecticut - looking out the window it's completely cloudy but no rain - few sprinkles earlier...
For my birthday we ordered new Frogg Togg complete rain sets - mine is different from the one I had - mine is longer, no elastic along the bottom of jacket, just a little on wrists; no elastic along the ankles of pants... Both jacket and pants have pockets (yeahhh)...
One thing I'm not so sure about is the high collar on the jacket where the hood is folded into the collar - I'll have to get used to it - must be so rain won't go down someones back...
Anyway, mine is called TREKK ROAD or something like that - but I like the looks of it and we'll carry it everyday with us as we ride...
Barb, you're not an idiot for spilling gas on your tank - Mac has done it too here and there - some of those pumps are awful and as we ride we have to take the gas station as it comes as can never tell when we'll find another station...
Yesterday he got Vpower or something - shell - cost was $3.03/gallon...
That's good to hear!!! Maybe it's the larger tank that's got me baffled..the handlebars are in the way too.
I've been to your web site/blog and I'm not getting the same screen anymore. Did you shut it down? I enjoy reading about your travels.

For some reason I click on the quote from your post and it's not working, I'm on dial-up at my sisters and it's so slow....
Barb, I just clicked on our link http://triglide.multiply.com above on post #3 and it works for me... Our home page comes up first, etc - hope you find it as we have not shut it down... Just not posting everyday currently until we're back on the road around July 8th...
OK, putting gas into the TriGlide... Mac is right-handed; he pulls in alongside a gas pump where the pump is on his right (emergency brake side near pump)...
Once running his credit card through; removing the nozzle with his right hand; stands alongside the TriGlide and with left hand removes/opens the gas tank...
He uses his right hand to insert the nozzle into the gas tank guiding it with his left hand... Believe he said it depends on the nozzle/hose as to if he tops it off or not; or if the pump keeps shutting off, etc...
He said if someone was left-handed like my sister, she'd have to pull in on the other side, using her left hand which has more strength and doing the above...
Hope this helps you out - and, yes, it's harder for shorter people - my opinion anyway...
