Default Computer Maping Help

I'm a newbe and don't know how to hook bike to computer to check my maping. Can this only be done by dealer? Don't understand it. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Well 1st you have to tell the people here WHAT you have that you want to download from. Do you mean stock EFI unit or an add on like a Power Commander and such ?

Sorry, I have a 2010 Tri-glide. Previous owner had Vance & Hines Slip0ns installed. All I want to do is add Bigger Air filter and was told I need to remap for this. The dealer said Remaping was over $400.00 and $139. for filter. I was wondering how I could do the remaping myself a lot cheaper. I don't know where to get the maps.

You have some options and all of them will cost some money. You could get the dealer Stage 1 upload which is around $150, you could buy the SEST (Screamin Eagle Pro Super Tuner) or you can get the TTS and finaly you can install the PCV that dyno jet makes. By the looks of the price quote you have from the dealer they might be using the SEST. Any way you slice it your going to spend between $150 - $450 give or take a few bucks.

I'm assuming the previous owner just put on the V&H slips with no fuel management or SE AC? Yeah, I would guess the SE air cleaner and flash would cost no more than $400 ($150 download, $139 SE AC, labor, tax)
