Default Torque

I have a Fuelmoto SS headpipe on order and I was hoping someone could tell me what the torque specs are for the exhaust flanges as well as the other mounting points? Also, is there a sequence to tightening the flanges?

Thanks for any info.

I don't like using a torque wrench on those exhaust studs because of the awkward position to get a wrench in there and fear of snapping a stud. I just used what I felt was equal pressure on each flange and each pipe was seated correctly. No leaks.
You'll be pleased with the nice form and fit with the Fuelmoto headpipe.

I've heard so much good about the Fuelmoto pipe I can't wait until it gets here. I just thought I would be prepared with the torque specs beforehand. I've got a 3/8 drive inch pound wrench for the light torques so I should be able to get it in where it needs to be.

Appreciate the help guys.

After she's warmed up and ridden, go back and re-tighen the nuts on the exhaust ports. The pipes will shift, expand and contract a bit while riding and cooling down. Always good to recheck.

I recommend tightening the exhaust nuts to 100 inch lbs and also note our pipe is designed specifically to use the stock tapered gaskets for a perfect seal with our billet collars. +1 to Mr Wizard and Carlo that it is a good idea to check them after the first ride.
