Default Trailer Stabilizer legs

I was wondering if anyone is using stabilizer legs on their dual axle trailer?

I have a "Carry On" 7 x 12 dual axle and want to load the bikes while the trailer is NOT connected to a vehicle. To me, the axles seem like they are set back far enough that the trailer will not tip. I tried researching this on the net and didnt find much info.

Thanks

I have an 8x12 Haulmark Lowhauler, twin axle... I use it as a garage while stationed at Parris Island, SC and living on base. I put the rear stabilizer legs down and then use the tongue jack to make it solid. Been doing this for over 2 years now... no issues at all.

I have a 7x14 for my TG and I use the rear legs when I load the trike as well as when It is not in use & parked. I also use the legs when it is parked in the driveway & I am working inside the trailer, they help when I am walking around inside the trailer so it will not tip.

I tried to load my wife's Fatboy trike into my 8' x 16' dual axle trailer and the tongue lifted off the block it was setting on. Nothing really bad happened but only because when I felt it lift, I gunned the trike and got it toward the front of the trailer in one hell of hurry. That put the tongue of the trailer back on the ground in a hurry but it did come off the block and moved to the side about 5 inches. Needless to say I have NEVERV tried that trick again without using the corner jacks. They are on there for a reason and I found it! Stupid on my part I know. USE THE JACKS!
