How much weight would you have to have on the hitch the make the front feel light ?
Wouldn't the pivot point be the rear axle ? Wouldn't you need more than the combined weight of eng,transmission, rider and front end ?
I don't think you'd ever feel it with an empty trailer.
Overthinking it ?
I've pulled a trailer over 10k miles and except for a little clatter from the hitch, I never know it's back there.

I put about 4000 miles pulling my trailer behind my ultra last year. Couldnt really tell it was back there except stopping and taking off. I bought a fish scale at a sporting goods store and I keep it in the trailer and measured the tongue weight as I load the trailer. I also put a little more air in the rear shocks of the ultra when pulling the trailer.
