I have a 2016 street Glide special. It runs fine but when it’s really hot out and I stop, it idles very rough like it’s going to stall. I bought it used and it had an aftermarket exhaust put on it. Not sure what else had been done.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
You have posted in the section for the small bikes like the Street 500/750 and Street Rod. You might want to ask the guys over in the touring models section of this forum. They might know of a common problem specific to the larger air cooled bikes.
That being said, I would check for any stored trouble codes, deteriorating plug wires, bad coil, leaky or plugged fuel injectors, or possibly a failing O2 sensor. You might pull the plugs and compare then to one of the available online troubleshooting charts.
