Thats why when I approach a junction on a priority road and there is a vehicle trying to get out, I move to the centre of the road, try to make eye contact with the driver and anticipate their next move!
As my instructor told me many years ago " treat everyone else on the road as a fool, take it for granted they are going to do something stupid and you won't go far wrong" .
It's that thought process that has got me out of many potential accidents!
