hey booger you said it bro any where in the country we're just one step away from reverting back to the stoneage you don't have to scratch very deep to get to the animal in all of us
But it does serve to remind me that under the uniforms, each one of us is a human being... suceptible to greed and self-ishness. A uniform can never change a person's heart.
Just came back from Dallas to meet with workers helping those displaced form the hurricane. We raised $114,000 to help those bussed to Texas and to help those in the gulf states. People from Hawaii care!
But I have to hand it to the Texans! They have stepped up to the plate and really have met the needs of so many that no longer have homes. They needed food for people in the Houston dome, and so much food was brought that they asked people to stop bringing any more!
Just stop to think and reflect on who you saw. Cops yes but they are not just cops and not just female. Look at them and you can see why they are there the first day after. Really look at them. it is unmistakable why they are doing what they are doing. One look and I said typical.
Theres alot of stuff that went on in New Orleans that we will probably never know. But one thing is for sure they had some hired mercaneries sent into the city to take care of the looting. These guys were hardcore to the max. When they left the airport they were itching to get there.
The whole ordeal SUCKED. I understand the looting to survive. It was hell. We got a lot of bad press down here. What the rest of the nation didn't see was all the compassion and help that occured. People helped each other. ALL people. Most of the looting occured from people who were from out of state. Yes that's right. But, through it all Louisiana is still standing.[sm=americanasmiley.gif] Merry Christmas, Tim

Wayne you are correct. No matter what uniform we wear, we battle the fallen nature.
We cannot point a finger unless we pull the beam out of our eye.
