Unfortunately, the weather yet again this coming weekend will suck. I don't enjoy riding in cold. I hate riding in rain. Riding in cold rain then, is only slightly more fun for me than pouring superglue down my pants.
Despite the possibility of bad weather, I still plan on riding to the Cherokee rally this Friday 4/28/06. Actually I'll probably stay in nearby Maggie Valley. It's gonna be late when I get there, about 7pm. Saturday AM we'll probably hit Deal's Gap and Cherohala, then decide if we'll stay another day or go on home.
Anyway, if anyone that IS going to Myrtle wants to pick it up at Cherokee this weekend, let me know.
If I don't hand it off at Cherokee, I'll probably just plan on meeting the group at Myrtle.
The Mascot will be moving north after Myrtle. Do you have anyone to hand it off to up north?

yes skjold, im sure it can go to the new yawk boyz, they are asking for it.
i need to know who's bringing it and what day.
im there the first weekend, leaving tuesday
i have already had the Mascot. However, to get it to Myrtle or anywhere else I will take it again. I am a couple of hours from Cherokee or Myrtle and have plenty of contacts in NC and SC to get it where it needs to go. Let me know when and where. 864-415-0091
Well me and a buddy went to Cherokee / Maggie Valley. Long story short - weather:OK, rallies:sucked, riding:specfrikintacular! Anyhow, for now I'll plan to be at the SBB new location between 2-3pm on 5/20. Who's taking it next?
AcidRayn is taking the lead to coordinate Mascot rides at MB. I'm going to coordinate with AcidRayn to try and arrange the Mascot rides around the Meet and Greets. However, we'd like to get the Mascot to MB for the first weekend so AcidRayn can set up a couple of rides.
Since you aren't going to be there till the second weekend, I was hoping you might be able to pass the Mascot off to me before-hand. I live in Hickory but, I'm currently working a job in SC (home on weekends, SC during the week). I was thinking that, if you're available this coming Sunday (May 7th), I could detour down your way to pickup the Mascot on my way back to SC. Then I can carry it to MB and pass it off to AcidRayn for the Mascot rides.
If Sunday is bad for you, I might be able to meet you some other time from Thurday evening to Sunday. Let me know and I'll PM you to arrange a meeting.
AcidRayn, are you staying though the 2nd weekend? If not would you be willing to hand it off to someone who is? Then they could bring it North and hand it off.
