I'll be in Abbotsford this Friday. Riding there from Calgary with my wife.
How do I pick up the mascot?
I can take it to Calgary on my way home Sunday.

It amazes me with the number of people on this board there is so little interest. Sounds like the best bet is to send it to the one man on this thread that hasn't touched this go around. Let's keep it moving now that it's on the road!
LOL, thats a joke right?
People try and get involved and are just ignored. Its no wonder so many just say 'screw it.'
It seems ya gotta be part of the 'click' around here. I had the time, was out that way, made an offer and heard no response either way. Whatever man, but when I read posts like yours it just makes me laugh.
Will arrive in Deadwood SD on the 14th and leaving in the am on the 16th headed to Riverton, Wy for the night. Taking I 90 over to Buffalo then 16 south ending up in Riverton WY. The next day will see us in Salt Lake City (actually Riverton UT...lol) for 4 days. Afterwards we're taking US 50 on back to Dodge City Ks and homeward.
I know its not so close but thought I'd throw it out, just in case....might be the closest I ever get to the darned thing....lol

You weren't ignored. He's reference was for Us living in the Northwest.
But Jeez Sd,Wy,Ut, Ks- that close to us-Yeah-
Alot of us have Jobs and or can't afford to ride the 1200 miles to Deadwood or points east at this time of year for whatever reason.
That plus the fact that it was stated that it would be nice if Canada had a shot at it as Summer in Canada is much better to ride than winter which Sucks up there.
So Yeah Whatever Man, when I read post like yours--oh forget it.

Think you're the only one....forget it. Wasted breath. I only rode out 1800 miles to SD and made an offer to help, but no problem.
Like Frogg said, it wasn't directed at you. There are several on the board near the Tri-Cities and there were only two from here that made the effort. I did not respond to you for one simple reason, I did not have nor would I have had possession of the Mascott. It was good of you to make the offer and I'm sorry it didn't work out but that was out of my hands.

Damn Rene, like ackman said, how do you do it. All I can say is thanks for your contribution in helping the mascot move through it's journey. Yes I think Peach Arch Park would be a great place to handoff the mascot. Maybe Skidder could cross the border in Sumas and Pot Bellied Stick figure AKA Dan, and I, and whoever else, could meet him there and ride back to Blaine for Pictures and signing. Susposed to be a great day weatherwise, which has been kinda scarce latley.

I'll ride anywhere that day as long as I can get back home by that night. I'd rather not cross the border but I would if that's where the ride goes.
