Wiz - 4-wheel mascot transport is a "no-no".
Mascot Rules
Rules specify HD transport only.
The weekend of 11/1-11/3 I'm going to be at Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, GA not too far from you. Thought about connecting with you then, but I also will be on 4 wheels instead of 2 that weekend, so that won't work.
WTT just may not work this time. Let me get past the weekend and TOD and see if we can find a favorable weather day to connect with you

Just plain riding is a blast.....when you're transporting the mascot its an event and a huge honor, imho.

figures, broke, can't find work, can't even put gas in the bike, and on top of it all, I forgot to put the kick stand down at the store the other day, so we both fell down together, and damn if I didn't pull my back tryin to pick her back up...and the mascot is in Atlanta...3 hours away...I would ride it somewhere, bike hasn't run in 2 weeks now...so I'm completely bummed...

I'll have it up here for a while, no worries, your back can heal up. Will be contacting others in Atlanta and South for pass off. I'm sure by the first of the year it will be in Florida though. Maybe you can cage to a meet if you want to smile for a pic or a signing and let others pass it along?

Rene has said he would like to see it move south so it might keep moving over the winter. I have sent pm's to several in Va, WV, Tenn and Ky who have said they want to participate, but only one has responded. I know I want to turn it around asap before winter sets in.....

LeadSSled. I grew up in Madisonville and still have family there. I worked in Knoxville way back in 68 before going in the Army. The mascot is running a little late this year. Last year I picked it from El Paso the week before thanksgiving and then took it to AZ the Saturday after thanksgiving. I plan on riding back to TN this year, I will give a shout if I am heading that way. Jim
