Sportster 883 down, throttle stuck open, now wont push start
I then called 2 of my buddies and they helped me push start the bike. BUT when I got it going via a push start in second gear, the engine rev'ed up big time like the throttle was stuck. Because it was rev'ed up so high I turned it off to examine. I didnt see anything wrong. Im pretty sure the throttle was not stuck
We then push started it again, and it did the exact same thing, but this time I tried to head home with the engine rev'ed up really high. I kept the bike in 3rd gear and kept the brake on so I wouldnt go fast.
I made it a few blocks but then the engine started sputtering and then it died. When it died I was going about 30 mph, so I slowed down and tried another push start at around 10 mph, but when I did that the back tire froze and nothing happened.
So now its in a parking lot not working

Im thinkin the problem has something to do with the computer. Now the bike wont even turn over (no click from the starter) and when the keys are in the bike and i pull on the break, the lights go dim and the milage indicator goes blank, which i thought was really weird.
Im hoping someone has some info about this, I have no clue whats going on? thanks in advance

Remove the spark plugs to check if the engine will turn over. Put the bike in 5th gear and push it with the clutch engaged (lever out)
If the pistons move up and down that's a good thing, if the rear wheel is still locked up then you have some problems.
