So i just got my PV from fuelmoto. Hooked it up and loaded the supplied file without issue. Started playing with the settings and guages. Set one to throttle % and noticed at full throttle it reads 99% not 100%. should i be concerned?
Short answer is no. My reasoning is the VE table for your bike uses throttle position. The VE columns read in various increments over to 100. The scale may be 80 then 100. When you twist the throttle it goes from 80 to 100 in very many increments. I think it is even more than 1 point at a time. Even if it doesn't go to 100 and stops at 99 it will be drawing the data from the 100 column and the 80 and calculating where it really is. The spark and AFR all use Map or Kpa which is a number from the Manifold absolute Pressure sensor and determines the proper position. It can be at 100% load all the way to the right and the throttle only at 60 or 70 as it is all dependent on engine load. Probably more info than you wanted.
I think you can adjust the throttle cables and get it to 100. Can't do that on the Throttle by Wire like I have so haven't done that but once on a 07 Softail. Haven't paid lot of attention to it.
Idle was at zero so i adjusted the front "throttle" cable to get it to just touch the stop. It was actually pretty far off. I did not touch the rear "idle" cable adjustment.

PV now shows 0% with no throttle and 100% at full throttle. PV is already being more helpful than just tuning my bike. Will ride it today to see how the tune Jamie sent works.
