Default PowerCommander 3USB Map recommendation

My 2003 Heritage had a Screaming Eagle Race Fueler put on by the previous owner along with a Ness Big Sucker intake and V&H Longshots. The ECM was left stock.

After seven years of ownership, I got tired of smelling fuel after parking the bike along with the somewhat sluggish performance so I decided to change out the Race Fueler for a PowerCommander 3 USB from FuelMoto.

I was sent a map by FuelMoto for the bike that seems to work well. However, since I switched over to the PowerCommander, there is now constant popping on deceleration.

I have tried resetting the throttle 0 position several times. Unfortunately it does not help stop the popping.

Any other ideas what I can check or settings I can modify, or does someone know if there is a map that would work with the accessories that I have?

If the bike had a SE Race Tuner on it your ECM is not at the stock settings. I'm sure you'll have to either set it back to the Factory Default, or if you can, use the Power Commander to override and replace the SE's settings that were/are on it. BTW the Race Tuner is a good product, it just needs someone familiar with them to do the tune and Dyno.

Thanks.

The bike did not have the SERT. Rather had a SE race fueler. The ECM is stock.

Ooops! I was thinking SERT. In that case check the torque on the header bolts and and then the intake manifold for any possible air leaks.

Cool more decel pop

with a bike that old ...check the intake manifold gaskets for leaks ....after warming the bike to op temp. ,with the bike at idle , gently spray carb. cleaner around each gasket ...(wear the intake meets the head) , if there are any leaks , the motor will want to stall or stop running . This leak will cause decel pop also ...if all is well there , go into the PC-III and at 0 throttle column .from 1250 rpm down to 3000 start adding 3-5 % fuel ...those pipes are not helping either ...(barrow another set from a buddy and see if that helps )
