Is junk. I can not get mine to work for ****. I get the recording and upload it to the laptop. After that I cant get the file to be found to open it to modify anything. When I hit the add new button it just shows the files that downloaded with the software. I followed the training to the t and its a no go. Any help will be nice. I have tried it four times now with the same results.
1. Once you have the main SEPST screen up, select Tuning (the tuning fork icon).
2. Hit Manually Select File and navigate to the appropriate directory where the software installed the canned maps (.dt0 files). This is typically in C:\Program Data\Super Tuner\Delphi\Tuning Files\Big Twins\. You will need to plough through a long list of maps. The details for the map will be displayed if you click on a file name.
These first couple of steps are getting your base map to start tuning. Once you have your base map in the bike and have done some data recording you still follow this C:\Program Data\Super Tuner\Delphi\Tuning Files\Big Twins\. except at the end part instead of selecting 'Big Twins', you select 'Recordings'. This should show you all your data runs (.hdx) and you highlight one and open then add new and so on.
Hopefully I've made sense explaining this, like I said -not very user friendly!!!
Yeah some. I got the whole loading a canned map and taking the recording down. I get back and upload it to the computer just fine. It's when I go load the recording to the four boxes to view I can't find it. When I click the add new button it doesn't show the recordings like it does in the training video. With the directory you said now I know where to go to try to find it. Just hope it's there. If not it's time for another road test.
Ok I found the files. On more question though. I generated the files and it showed me the info that it came up with. I hit the rpm button and everything turned purple. I hit save as and saved it. When I reopen the file its not the same as when I saved it. Is this normal? I haven't uploaded the new calibration to the bike yet. I'm going to use a program called mytune to help fine tune it. Thanks for the help. I take back my calling it junk. It seems to work it's just being a pain in my ***.
