@us1fountain: FM sent me the "custom map" (which is also numbered) via email where I then saved it in my download files. The other day I downloaded (someone on here told me I needed to do this) the PCIII disc that was sent to me 2 years ago when I purchased their EFI Tuner and letting them know about my modification which were mufflers at that time. With bike running I then opened the PCIII page that showed a blank map and clicked on "get map". It opened my C drive where I then opened my download folder, found and clicked on the custom map/ with correct number and opened it. Once it was opened it showed up on the PCIII table with FM's notes on the bottom "custom map". This was the map sent to me. Clicked "send map" and it did, followed by download complete.
Didn't I say this already or did I misunderstand your post? In my previous post maybe I just shortened my steps explaining or explained it misleading??
I know for sure it downloaded the map that was sent to me.
thnx.
FM got back to me this afternoon after I showed them my readings (posted above). I was told to set the throttle to 0% instead of the 3% which can be done under PC Tools off of the web which I have.
Like I said, I can understand better if something is explained to me rather reading it. Can someone give me a run down on what to do, look for or expect when I open Tools and go to Throttle Settings please? I'll still read the instructions etc, but if I can get the explanation too would be great.
Or if anyone wants to add anything I missed? I know I misread a comment on here earlier but I corrected myself (and made note of it). My bad, just jumping the gun I guess.....
thnx,
sambo
