I also am / was experiencing bus ER display and multiple codes on my 2007 ultra classic. Took it all apart cold find no loose, chafed, shorted, damaged wiring. Took it to the dealer. Ran scan tech diagnostics. Found no problems even when codes display and all alarm lights( check engine, battery, security) are on.
Also, you won't believe this, when I use CB radio and transmit, the engine begins to sputter and miss fire. When i release th PTT button, everything returns to normal.
The bike continues to run great even with alarms and bus ER. I'll figure it out and post results.
