Crane HI-4 ignition wire mashed
In checking all my wiring to find the problem of intermittent misfires and sudden shutdowns, I decided to check the wires coming out of the ignition module. (Crane HI-4) I peeled back the rubber insulation to find the black wire mashed pretty bad. It does not touch anything because of the rubber insulation. It is at the point where the wires pass through the hole in the housing. Could THIS be my problem? Long weekend and hot weather coming up, I would like to be riding, but still cant solve the problem. I am going to splice the wire and see what happens.
