Default SEPST software update failure.
I recently purchased the Screamin' Eagle Pro Street Tuner. After installing the software onto my computer, it asks me to check for updates. It checks but then says update failed. I just installed it. Does anybody know own what to do to fix this or make it work? Since it hasn't updated it won't let me flash the new tune onto the ecm. Thank you for your time.

Uninstall it and then re-download and install again.

I am having the exact same problem... Exactly. And I can't find anywhere to get any answers to help me

I'll be damned if my tuner isn't doing the exact same thing. Expensive P.O.S.

You can't tune the bike when it locks itself out over an update.

So this was the fix guys. I completely deleted the program from my laptop and redownloaded it from the download site. Worked perfect after I reinstalled the program. Good luck with yours.

It's that must have an update checked within 30 days that is in the programming. And, for some reason it is easier to start fresh rather than just check for updates.

last version removed the 30 day thing, and also the update site is kaputt forever. this happened a looong time ago

It's pretty damned stupid when the tuner marries the bike and most guys just don't tune their bike every other day.
