so long story short, every time i lean my bike into the kickstand, the idle drops and acts like it want to stall out. I'm running a s and s super e and I just can't seem to figure out why the idle is so inconsistent. I've cleaned the carb and adjusted the float but still no luck. It's just a evo motor in a rigid frame with absolutely nothing it doesn't need (tach, oil pressure gauge, etc.) anyone have any clue? Is it possible it's not even a carburetor problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated
Does it do it if you lean it the other way? There might be something loos tugging on the enrichner cable. It would also be beneficial if you listed year and model of the bike.
I'm pretty sure the motor came out of a 93 fxr. And when leaned straight up or to the right, the idle picks up and continues to raise the farther I go to the right
phenolic or hollow?
if hollow, check for fuel inside and if phenolic make sure it hasn't broken down and absorbed fuel.
when ever i set float, i always check with fluid a few times to make sure where the level actually is before installing.
