What would cause my volt meter to drop from 14 to 9 creating lost of power and sometimes backfire, then it goes back to 14 volts? This happens mostly when I'm riding for the first 30 minutes and around 2000-3000 rpm. It seems to go away after I ride for awhile. Each time this happens, it lasts for 5-10 seconds. Can anyone help?

I'll have to get a higher power magnifyingglasses to trace wires. It's hard for me to see this stuff.
