whats up fellow riders ! I have a question and maybe a dumb question. I have a 2004 dyna wide with stock motor and vance n hines longshots and with a hypercharger. I know some will say your hypercharger is the issue but i don't believe it is. The issue i am having is that i keep fouling out plugs on the rear cylinder. Whats wierd is that when i am riding normally vs just giving her hell it seems to run ok but once i giver hell she spits sputters like the plug is fouled. Then i take the front front plug out and its clean. And the i take out the rear plug and it has black soot on it. Hopefully somenone will be able to help me out on trying to figure it . I have changed the plug wires and ignition coil. Thanks for your time.

Check for intake leaks first. Is it carb or fuel injection? What tuning has been done? Stock plugs?

Its carburated and i was using champion but switched to ngk and still the same issue.

Check out for vacum leaks, once that is covered confirm that yout carb jetting is correct. The best way forvthatbis a trip to the dyno.

Since your bike is 14+ years old it’s very conceivable you have an intake leak from front cylinder intake leak causing a lean condition. If someone has rejetted the carb they could have tried to cover up the lean cylinder by over-richening the mixture which, in turn, would make the engine run excessively rich on the cyclinder without the intake leak.
Also, I would swap plugs frt to rear to assure the same issue repeats.

How is your oil level? Could have a rear ring issue as well but not very likely.

It is possible, 15 minute compression test along with checking for a intake leak is good base diagnostics with a older engine. Everybody knows that.
