Fuel tank problem
2009 sportster 1200 with a 4.5 gal tank. Not able to draw all the fuel from the tank. At 100 miles the bike runs out of fuel. Then when it's filled up can only get maybe 3 gals into the tank. So there is 1.5 gals of fuel still in the tank. Not sure why this is happening.

That's pretty well what my SuperLow does - cries 'empty' when it's still around a third full!

It's possible there is a failed seal or some other leak, in the various parts inside the tank. If you haven't discovered them yet there are parts websites where you can see what you have inside.
