Default RE: closed loop ?

It makes the AFR richer in the closed loop area. The 02 sensor reads voltage...from 0 to 1 volt, when the sensor sends a voltage reading of .45 to the ECM the ECM makes the AFR 14.6:1 to 14.7:1. If the ECM reads .500 volts theAFR will go to 14.5:1 or so, .550 it gets richer and so on all the way to .798 which will give an AFR close to 14.1:1now same is true the other way...voltage lower than .45 the AFR will get leaner. The 14.6 in the AFR table is only a switch.....it puts the 02 sensors on line, if you change the 14.6 to anything else the 02 signal is ignored and a code will be thrown after riding for a minute or so at 50 kpa.

Default RE: closed loop ?

I'm just trying to understant the principal of what I've already got-the Terminal Velocity 11 alpha n on my 07 bob-It seems to work well performance wise, but I've read conflicting info comcerning AFR (in cruse as well as out). Would I be wrong to assume the unit adjusts voltage to the ECM (the one dyno chart I did see showed the AFR hugging the power curve) I'm no wrench and want to know if the unit worksbetween the 02 sensors and the ECM and is doing something like your post describes. I havent had it sniffted and like I said-there isconflicting info concerning AFR and this unit. Can you help me understand how the TV works if not like your post describes?-Thanks

In theory by increasing the numbers in the Closed loop bias section, your bike will use more gas but would this also make it run cooler?

How did the before and after plug readings compare?

Did a tuning guide come with it, or just installationinstructions?

Yes,increasing the volume of unburned, cold, wetfuel thru the combustion chambers andout the exhaust system hasquite a cooling affect, if you can afford itthese days.

The TV II is a DFO system and I can't help you with those.....sorry but I don't use them at all.
