frogot the spark plug gap on 1980 shovelhead electronic pickup i though it was 35 thosands put a s&s carb on having trouble starting

Question frogot the spark plug gap on 1980 shovelhead electronic pickup i though it was 35 thosands put a s&s carb on having trouble starting
i need the spark plug gap on a shovelhead

Depending on what ignition system sometimes the old bikes liked .025-,030” to make it easier to jump the gap.

Yes. Has worked for Harleys as long as I can remember. Back to using Ford tractor points on flatheads.
