Acceleration Pop

I have a 2016 883 with 1250 conversion kit, joker machine air cleaner, and Roland Sands 2 into 1 exhaust. I also have an FP3 installed. I used high octane gas. The bike was running fine after these changes but after a while I developed a popping or burping during hard acceleration. I seems to come from the front of the bike. I have adjusted the tune many times (with help from Vance & Hines) and I have replaced the gaskets on my exhaust. Nothing I do seems to get rid of the burping/popping. Any ideas?

Even though you changed the exhaust gaskets you still should check for leaks where the exhaust sections are connected. Also check for intake leaks. It sounds like a fuel/tune problem but something like that can happen if you have poor battery connections at the terminals and also at the ground.
Check for codes as well.

Sounds like an excessively lean condition that needs to be properly addressed with a dyno tune...especially since you’ve spent time working with V&H and they haven’t cured the problem.
