Ignition/Tuner/ECM/Fuel InjectionNeed advice on ignition issues? Questions about a tuner? Have questions about a EFI calibration or Fuel Injection? Tips on Engine Diagnostics, how to get codes, and what they mean. Find your answers here.
Ok. I have searched the forum. I only found stuff on the twin cams using the Pro Street Tuner. I am looking for advice on using the HD Pro Street Tuner for a Stage 2 on a 114 2019 Ultra Limited. I would be using the Screamin' Eagle Hi Flow air filter assy. and either Cannon mufflers or S&S. SE8-447 cam. Figured I would try out the HP MAP. Anyone use this combo? What gains? Does the dealer require me to buy the cable kit? I bought the 5 year warranty so I will stay warranty compliant.
Unless you are willing to spend some real learning time to understand how the chosen tuning software works, understanding how EFI works, and the time for errors and researching those errors to know what to do about them to be successful in the tuning process.
If you feel you need to DIY you will need to buy the cables, one is a printer cable available from any supplier but the other needs to be purchased from a company that sells tuning products for harleys like TTS, V&H, Dynojet, Direct Link, and Sreamin’ Eagle.
Good luck,
Bob
Got passed the which one. To stay warranty compliant the Sceamin' Eagle is the one. With a stage 2 I will stop there. Way in the future upgrades will include the fast feed back 02 sensors from Harley. Including the 41000445 smart tune pro module. Just left the
dealership 2 weeks away from the install.
