HD Garage opener Install- Void Warranty?
If I was to install the HD garage door opener on my Fathers 07' Deluxe would i void his extended warranty or any warranty there of. I mean if i void the "Headlight" for any reason who cares but am i in risk of voiding the warranty given through the dealer. Someone please let me know the dealer charges 255.00 plus some other b.s. and i know i can do it i just dont want to mess the warranty up. Sorry for the run on but any help is appreciated. Thanks

They'd have to prove that your install of the garage door opener was cause for the failure of whatever (stator, starter, leaky primary, etc..). I can't imagine you could screw too much up!
