to the ones that are having the problem now........
Check INSIDE your fuel tank when you turn on the ignition......
See a fuel spray going on in there?
Thats a pinhole leak on a high pressure line in there, it rubs against one of the braces. it lowers the fuel pressure JUST enough to not start......
I had the EXACT same problem as the OP..........changed out the hose and the feel filter in there and never had a problem again.
Re route that high pressure line when you're in there so it doesn't rub against the brace.

I am losing spark on start-up when the problem occurs. Keeping an eye on this thread for findings of others
Unfortunately there's no way to test the ECM short of trying another one.
Did you check the coil with an ohm meter? I don't recall the specs but should be in the manual.
Mine ended up being using comp eliminator sprocket with the easy start cams. It was turning engine to fast to detect compression. Once I switched back to a compensator, started fine since then.

5v wire grounded to Frame repaired it have replaced crank sensor coil is good little more testing today then pull the trigger on ecm bypassed the tsm and still no spark so its good going to double check the harness today have it all pulled out so check and check again lol

I am having this problem after I changed to a Darkhorse Compensator. I also found that my front plug wire wont ohm consistently. Definitely a bad wire, but if new wires dont fix my problem I may going back into the primary. I will report my findings.
I went back to a stock compensator this morning. I let the bike sit for 2 hours and told myself I wasnt gonna touch it till tomorrow. Well I couldnt Stand it. It just started 20 times in a row
A voltmeter is your friend. If the Battery voltage drops into the 9s or even the 8s, the starter will crank, but the ign might not fire. A quick charge will give a surface charge to start it up.
