Been frustrated with my 2007 Heritage because of high engine heat, poor power when hot, surging at lower rpms and distinctive high pitched ping (detonation) while rolling hard on third and fourth.
The Shamrock Shield helped with the heat but it was still there under the shield.
Installed PCIII this weekend...should have done it right away. Runs strong and powerfull at low rpms screams past former speeds at higher rpms. No shudder surge or ping (was a ping at first but Jamie sent me new firmware that eliminated it) while riding.
Liked the bike a lot when it was dragging it's but around but now I love it.
"Ridability" went from a "B" to an "A+".
I don't work withor forPCIII but happily recommendthem!Mike077@gmail.com
Call Jamie at FuelMoto.com great service! Even emailed me back on a Sunday night!
Congrats on your results. I was much impressed as well once I got the PCIII and got the mapping tweaked a little. Its just a shame that we have to go the route in order for our bikes to realize their potential.
By the way, I like the looks of that shield!
I had no heat issues with my Stage II on the Big Bore and the oil cooler (2001 FLHRI). Yep, in the summer at stoplights you could feel the heat under the seat - no big deal. But with the PCIII added after my new top end (SE High-Per and forged SE jugs, porting) and cams, not only is the bike running cooler, but there's no deaceleration groaning, the bike has a crisper throttle, much smoother operation, and better idling. Can't wait until after the dyno tune!
