Default Streetglide knocking
Hey all. Bike won’t start. Went to jump (dead battery) and it made a God awful hard knocking sound. Like a hammer on steel! Sounds and feels like it’s coming from the starter but I recently replaced it end of last year. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Replace the battery and then get back to us.

My sons battery died in his softail and when he hit the starter it made a god awful clunk. Put the battery on a tender and next morning it fired right up no clunk.
